Delta Kappa Epsilon “Tomb,” 1861–1927
Before Yale’s fraternities built the country club-style Tudor lodges of the 1920s, they occupied eccentric “tombs” like those of the senior societies. DKE’s, on York Street where Saybrook College now stands, was a barrel-vaulted crypto-classical affair.
