The Building That Won’t Go Away

No structure at Yale has had as tumultuous a history as the late Paul Rudolph’s Art & Architecture Building. As the pendulum swings back towards appreciation of the building, the School of Art prepares to move out, clearing the way for at least a partial restoration.



True, the soccer teams had memorable seasons, and almost every Yale squad beat Harvard. But the travails of the football team in Coach Jack Siedlecki’s debut season were painful for fans, right down to the loss in The Game that cemented Harvard’s first undefeated Ivy season.
