After five years of vigorous fundraising, the University’s most recent capital campaign ended on June 30 on schedule and substantially ahead of its unprecedented goal of $1.5 billion. The achievement was all the more notable in light of some major public-relations setbacks along the way that threatened to slow the flow of contributions.

Can Jack Siedlecki “Get It Done”?

When Carm Cozza retired last season as the football coach with the most wins in the Ivy League, the tributes muted the fact that recent seasons have not been kind to Yale teams. Cozza’s successor, Jack Siedlecki, comes to New Haven from Amherst, where he turned a program around in a relative jiffy. He is not bashful about his ambition to do the same for the Elis.
