School of Architecture “New Blue: Recent Work of Graduates of the Yale School of Architecture, 1978-1998” Multimedia panels display the work of Maya Lin, Doug Garafolo, Constance Adams, and others who studied at the School of Architecture under deans Cesar Pelli, Thomas Beeby, and Fred Koetter.

Art Gallery “Myer Myers: Jewish Silversmith in Colonial New York” Colonial New York City is the backdrop for an exhibition of 104 silver and gold objects crafted by silversmith Myer Myers (1723-1795). The material on display includes a pierced-work basket, a dish ring for a prominent Loyalist, and five pairs of Torah finials made for the three largest Jewish congregations in colonial America. “A Gallery of Poems” A display of 22 pairs of art objects and poems reveals that the ancient tradition of ecphrastic poetry—poetry directed to particular works of art—continues to enhance the relationship between art and literature.
Beinecke
Rare Book and Manuscript Library “A Library for its Time: Collections Then and Now” The Beinecke has organized a display that contrasts the books that were probably at Yale in 1701 with manuscripts, maps, photographs, art work, and musical scores.
Center
for British Art “Great British Paintings from American Collections” Some of the greatest masterpieces of British painting belong to American collections, and as its principal contribution to Yale’s Tercentennial the BAC has mounted an exhibition of nearly 80 British works of art from public and private U.S. holdings.
